Privacy Policy

SportsPred (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU/UK users.

When you create an account and use SportsPred, we collect the following information:

• Name and email address — collected at registration for account management and service delivery
• Betting history — bets you manually log in the betting tracker, stored to calculate your personal performance statistics
• Currency preferences — your selected display currency, stored to personalise your experience
• IP address and location data — used solely for automatic currency detection based on your country; not stored permanently
• Usage data — anonymous page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics
• Payment metadata — subscription tier and billing dates; card details are never stored and are processed entirely by Paystack

Your personal data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (neon.tech), a serverless cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and at rest. Neon is SOC 2 compliant and hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States.

We do not store payment card details. All payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

SportsPred uses minimal, strictly necessary cookies:

• JWT session cookies only — used to keep you logged in across page visits
• No advertising cookies — we do not use any ad tracking or third-party marketing cookies
• No cross-site tracking — we do not track you across other websites

Anonymous analytics are collected via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and is GDPR-compliant by design.

SportsPred contains affiliate links to betting platforms including Bet9ja, BetKing, 1xBet, BetWay, and others. When you click these links, SportsPred may earn a commission at no cost to you. Affiliate tracking is done via URL parameters only — we do not share any personal information with affiliate partners. Clicking affiliate links takes you to third-party platforms governed by their own privacy policies.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Rectification — correct any inaccurate data
• Erasure — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — receive your betting history and account data in a portable format (CSV)
• Objection — object to any processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact: privacy@sportspred.ng. We will respond within 30 days.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data is retained for 12 months.

SportsPred is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
